Our Acocks Green location is a great base for travel throughout the South Birmingham area with the A45, A41 and A34 roads very nearby. The NEC and Airport are a 10-15 minute drive away, making us ideal for exhibitors during the large shows.
Public transport links in the area are excellent, with frequent services to Birmingham and Solihull by train, and numerous major bus routes in the area - including the number 11 circular, which is the longest route in Europe and rings around Birmingham.

Driving directions for the Quality Hotel Birmingham Airport/NEC.
From North & South M1/M6 to M42 (Junction 6):
APPROACHING FROM M42 Leave at Junction 6/A45 towards Birmingham. Turn left at Yardley opposite the Swan Shopping Centre, sign-posted Acocks Green, into Yardley Road. Take the first exit at the next roundabout, keeping on the Yardley Road which then changes to Sherbourne Road. You'll find us just after the rail station on the left!
From South West M5 to M42 (Junction 6):
APPROACHING FROM BIRMINGHAM On leaving Birmingham City Centre, follow the A34 Stratford Road towards Stratford and take the left fork onto the A41 Warwick Road. Continue towards Acocks Green. Just before the main island in the centre of Acocks Green turn left into Dudley Park Road. After a short distance you will pass a Pelican crossing and a cross roads and the road then changes to Sherbourne Road. The hotel is approximately another 150 yards on the right hand side just before the railway station.
We are located right next to the rail station so train travel is easy!
Travelling by train?
If travelling from London it is easiest to go from Marylebone station as we are on that line. As not many London trains stop at Acocks Green, you will probably have to change at Solihull - but don't worry - it's really easy as you just stay on the same platform! Tickets are great value, starting from just £5 one way...
Flying into International?
You can take a taxi from the airport which takes around 10 minutes (or less if the traffic is good)!
If your Birmingham-bound train gets into New Street, then you will need to exit the station and walk 5 minutes to Moor Street station (ask one of the friendly station staff for directions) where you can take an onward train to Acocks Green.
There is plenty to keep you amused while visiting Birmingham. Choose from world-class shopping, great restaurants, great music, art, concerts and stay up all night clubbing.
Kids will love Birmingham as there is plenty to do - including visiting the Science Museum or IMAX at Millennium Point, Cadbury World, or the SeaLife Centre at Brindley Place.

We are located outside of the city-centre, so guests benefit from the peace & quiet, but are still within a short hop of everything that you might want to see and do in the area.
